Hello and thank you for visiting. This is a community group for all Australian quilters to join or just follow. Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. To find out more or register to join email me on quiltingblocks@hotmail.com This purpose of this blog is to chat and showcase blocks and quilts made by members, kind of like a show and tell . July, August and Sept... wow

Last year I swapped with Petah in Qld. I made a bright log cabin....
....Sept 13 I am again paired with Petah. I don't normally post before the person has got the block so sorry Petah but I wanted to show the comparison. Both have butterflies somewhere in the block as a tribute to my son.
ChristieLeigh sent me this beautiful bright block and some gorgeous fabric........
... and this is the block I sent to ChristieLeigh, such a fun block to make so I have this in my bank of patterns
Julianne sent me this lovely block for July, so I am now up to date with all my swaps. Julianne's block that I sent was the lonestar pieced block which she posted about ages ago. Lovely swapping with all of you.
